Men’s Match Play Championships

MEN’S MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS

COMPETITION DATES: From May to September.

FORMAT: Match Play, Gross.

ELIGIBILITY:  All male members. You may register in only one of the following divisions:

Division 1: Open division (under 8) If a player with an index over 8 wishes to play in the open division please let Stanley Horton know.

Division 2: Individuals with indexes of between 8 and 12

Division 3: Individuals with indexes of 12 or more.

Note: Separate Divisions depend on number of entries in each division.

ENTRY: $10 with a 70/30 payout for 1st and 2nd

DRAW: Random. The draw will be posted in the men’s locker room.

RULES: Golf Canada and local rules.  All matches must be played within the time frame prescribed.

TEE MARKERS: Division 1 matches are played from the blue tees, Division 2 (greens) and Division 3 (whites).

SCORING:  Match play. Gross.

TIES: Players will decide on the playoff format before beginning the match. Sudden death, 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes of extra play may be used.

REGISTRATION: Deadline is Monday May 23

REGISTRATION SIGN-UP: You may register on-line from home or on sign-up sheets available in the Men’s locker room and Pro-Shop

NOTE: The winner of the Open division is automatically qualified for next years Men’s Intersectional team.
